7:25PM – Richmond Department of Children and Youth – LaShonda White, Director, Richmond Department of Children and Youth on an overview of Department’s work and information on the 2019 Richmond Community Survey. The Department of Children and Youth was authorized by Richmond voters when they approved Measures E and K, known as the Richmond Kids First Initiative, on June 5, 2018. These measures direct a portion of General Fund revenue to fund youth programs and services.
7:55PM – What’s blowing in the East Richmond winds? – The new Regional Air Quality Board air monitoring program in Richmond is getting underway. A report back from the Saturday 11/2 workshop and what Richmond Hts. residents can expect to find out from this program (Note: Saturday, 11/2 from the 10-1:30, the Regional Air Board is holding “A Path to Clean Air in Richmond and San Pablo” at the Memorial Auditorium at Civic Center, see https://bit.ly/richmond-sanpablo-communitysummit)
