Richmond P.D. report: neighborhood crime incidents and crime prevention suggestions
How did Mira Vista Field come to be, and what’s possible ahead? – Adele Ho, Friends of Mira Vista Field, will talk about how this remarkable Richmond Heights open space was spared from condo development, how it’s cared for today, and display a design plan for proposed trail improvements at the field.
New Directions in Fostering Shelter Dogs: Yona Rappaport, co-owner of a company contracted as the behavior team for the Contra Costa Animal Shelter will describe the idea behind a new County program to foster shelter dogs.
Measure R, WCCSD School Facilities Bond and Measure J, $1.9 billion transportation measure (1/2 cent sale tax increase over 35 years) – Ben Steinberg will critique Measure R and the school district has been asked to send a representative (regardless, a “yes” position will be represented). We will also discuss a detailed project list from the West Contra Costa Transportation Agency on planned Measure J transportation expenditures for the Richmond area.
